The world renown velvet fabric producers Girmes and J. L. de Ball specialize in producing high quality woven velour fabrics, corduroy and woven faux fur and have set up manufacturing plants in Europe and North America since 1860. For many years, Girmes has enjoyed the reputation for supplying top quality and innovative new design velvet fabrics. In 1999, Girmes came to China and set up a manufacturing plant in Zhangjiagang(its name was changed to Jiangsu Girmes Special Textiles Co. Ltd in 2006, abbreviated as GSTZ).



GSTZ continue the long history and years of experience from its parent, Girmes Germany in the production of the velvet products.
GSTZ inherited the unique manufacturing technologies and equipment and now has expanded the products it supply to serve the apparel, home furnishing, and industrial technical markets.
